Singapore has boosted its water supply through water-recycling and also increased its land area by reclaiming land, all feats accomplished by engineers. And engineering will continue to be important for Singapore's future, as the country works towards becoming a smart nation and overcoming its lack of resources

8th year at Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR)

This month marks the start of Jun Long's 8th year at Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) 's Institute for Infocomm Research.

A lot of things have changed in the organisation since he joined. The past two year was the most most drastic change in operations and landscape. Hopefully, the changes create a better environment for Singapore research and a better country future.
