The Age of AI has Arrived with Agentic AI

 


There’s lots of hype online that Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help us in many ways using Large Language Models (LLMs) like ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ญ๐†๐๐“, ๐ƒ๐ž๐ž๐ฉ๐ฌ๐ž๐ž๐ค, etc. ๐Ÿ’ญ I’ve been thinking a lot about how AI can actually help us ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ, ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐๐ž๐ซ—and I put together this simple diagram to show one way it’s happening!

๐Ÿค– Agentic AI is a type of AI that can make uncomplex decisions and take predefined actions independently. It uses machine learning, LLMs, and enterprise automation to perform tasks and solve real life problems.

AI agents can in fact take on ๐˜ด๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ต๐˜ข๐˜ด๐˜ฌ๐˜ด in research projects or project management—like

✅ Cleaning and analyzing data for a science experiment,
✅ Keeping milestones track,
✅ Preparing your slides,
✅ Drafting your project charter,
✅ Even organizing multi parties meeting slots, etc.

It’s like having a super-smart teammate who can suggest next steps and ๐ค๐ž๐ž๐ฉ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ . But here’s the catch: we humans still need to be in the loop, double-checking the AI’s work and making the big and often complex decisions it can’t handle alone. ๐Ÿ‘จ‍๐Ÿ’ป
